Terms of Use
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Vuvie mobile application, websites, and related services (collectively, the "Platform") operated by Vuvie ("Vuvie", "we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
2. The Platform
Vuvie provides short-form drama series and related entertainment content, some of which may be free and some of which may require coins, a membership, or other paid entitlements. Features available on the Platform may change over time.
References to "you" mean the individual who accesses or uses the Platform, including guests browsing without an account and signed-in users.
3. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use the Platform. If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at hello@vuvie.io if you suspect unauthorized use.
4. Third-Party Content and Licenses
Content available on Vuvie may be licensed from third-party rights holders. Except for the limited license granted to you to stream or download content for personal, non-commercial use through the Platform, no rights are transferred to you. You may not copy, redistribute, publicly perform, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from Platform content except as expressly allowed by applicable law.
5. User Conduct
You agree not to misuse the Platform, including by attempting to circumvent payment, access controls, or DRM; harassing other users or Vuvie staff; uploading malware; scraping or bulk-downloading content; or using the Platform for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.
6. Subscriptions and Virtual Currency
Memberships renew automatically until cancelled according to the instructions shown in the app or your app-store account settings. Virtual currency (coins) and membership benefits are licensed, not sold, and generally are non-refundable and non-exchangeable once used, except where required by law. Prices and promotions may change; existing purchases are not retroactively adjusted unless we say otherwise.
Purchases completed through Apple App Store, Google Play, or other storefronts are also subject to those providers' terms and billing practices.
7. Disclaimers
THE PLATFORM AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VUVIE AND ITS AFFILIATES, LICENSORS, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE PLATFORM WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO VUVIE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the date associated with this document or by providing notice in the app. Continued use of the Platform after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
