Privacy Policy
Last Updated: July 13, 2026
This Privacy Policy applies to the Vuvie services, including the Vuvie application, related websites, and other products that link to this policy (collectively, "Vuvie"). It describes how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use Vuvie.
IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH THIS PRIVACY POLICY, PLEASE DO NOT USE VUVIE.
BY ACCESSING OR USING VUVIE, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THIS PRIVACY POLICY.
1. What Information We Collect
We may collect information you provide (such as display name, email when you contact support, and preferences), device and app information (device identifiers, OS version, language, crash logs), usage data (series viewed, search queries, purchase history within the app), and payment-related metadata from app stores (we do not store full payment card numbers).
If you enable optional features such as notifications or calendar reminders, we process the permissions and data needed to deliver those features.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to operate and improve Vuvie, personalize recommendations, process purchases and restore entitlements, provide customer support, send service-related messages, measure performance, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
3. Sharing of Information
We may share information with service providers who assist with hosting, analytics, crash reporting, customer support, and content delivery, under contractual obligations to protect your data. We may also share information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a corporate transaction such as a merger or acquisition.
We do not sell your personal information in the traditional sense of exchanging it for money. Some jurisdictions define "sale" or "sharing" more broadly for advertising; where those laws apply, we provide choices described in Your Rights.
4. Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide Vuvie, maintain your account and purchase history, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and meet legal requirements. When retention is no longer necessary, we delete or de-identify information according to our practices.
5. Security
We implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; please use a strong device passcode and keep your app updated.
6. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You may also have the right to opt out of certain advertising-related sharing. Contact hello@vuvie.io to exercise these rights. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.
7. Children
Vuvie is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact hello@vuvie.io and we will take appropriate steps.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy in the app and revise the "Last Updated" date. Material changes may also be communicated through the app or other reasonable means. Your continued use of Vuvie after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
9. Contact
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or our privacy practices, contact us at hello@vuvie.io.
